-Merrimentus appears to invite Ashen Cabaret to compete in his arena, suggesting prizes and chances to settle the score with some of the folks that have grudges with the gang
-The first group is the redcaps and zombies from Hagatha’s swamp that are angry about Shade eating their hag mom
-The group dispatches them with ease
-They overhear through their breakroom door that the champion is called the undying one
-The second group is a gang of mercenaries from Ilvaluna reporting back information on Juno
-Jadeth tells Juno to play along and pretends to be possessed by her, assuming it would let her get close to Virgil but he’s not the one there
-The head mercenary nearly takes Juno out, but Jadeth pulls her through a dimensional door while Henry handles the others and Slender locates where the head mercenary vanished
-They survive that fight, and Merrimentus gives them to option to fight for glory or fight someone with a grudge and they decide to do the fight with the grudge
-Their final fight is Solar, a demigod who remembers what AC did to his brother
-He immediately grabs Jadeth and spikes her into the lava, but she turns the attack around and dumps some of it on him before crashing into his head as an icecube
-The fight is intense, but Slender makes sure to keep everyone up and healed as the group chases Solar around the room to hurl attacks at him
-Solar tries to fly out of their range, but Henry calls him a pussy so he comes back and knocks him out of the sky
-Shade Naruto runs up the wall and smacks the solar dead and the crowd cheers
-As the battered Cabaret gets ready for the final fight, Derrick comes out and greets the group
-They all agree they don’t want to fight, so Merrimentus tells them they’re free to go
-Slender asks if he knows what the guitar he found is, and Merrimentus tells him it belongs to his brother who is a lot less friendly
-Jadeth invites Derrick to stay with them for a while
