Dreadwyrm

Appearance

The DreadWyrm is a gargantuan serpent whose body spans entire nations. Its scales are a deep purple and black, and the spikes on its back are as large as mountains. Its eyes glow with an intense red light, and it radiates a palpable aura of malevolence and terror.

Personality

The DreadWyrm is an ancient evil, far older than the other deities in the pantheon. It is a god of suffering and night terrors, and its power comes from harvesting the nightmares of mortals while keeping them alive and sleeping. The DreadWyrm is evil, and it seeks to bring destruction and chaos, and eternal suffering to the world.

Worship

The DreadWyrm emerged from the deep abyss 30,000 years ago and was confronted by some of the other gods and a mage named Argos, in a conflict that shattered the world and is known to a select few as the War of the Gods. Although it was able to kill some of the gods in the fight, it was ultimately defeated and sealed away. Its followers, known as "the cult of dread," work to free it from its prison.

Abilities

The DreadWyrm's followers are a fanatical cult who seek to bring about its return. They offer their allegiance in exchange for dark powers and creatures from the ethereal plane, and they work tirelessly to bring about the downfall of the other deities and the liberation of their god.
