The group lands on the shores of the once great capital city of the Dunrarian Empire, now buried under ash and hardened lava. They ascend to where Sky remembers the entrance of the volcano, and find a racist old duergar named Bigg Stonedick. Bigg makes for an easy pickpocket target, and the group bullies the size of his… member… until finally convincing him that he needs to go out and see the world and also become a landlord.
Entering the volcano, they meet with a camp of goblins that are wary of new adventures after being opressed by a few others for so long. J.J. tried to convince the hobgoblin in charge that the group means no harm by a gift of golden jewelry. The adventures come through, with the hobgoblin quickly telling The Shadow Prophets to hide. As they leave, they accidentally fire of their cannon and damage the cave ceiling. Moments pass before magma begins rapidly filling the chamber, but the group gets to work quickly, managing to save almost all of the goblins. They escape into a room where some fire giants are playing Bulette football, and the giants open up to passage to the underdark which is a giant slide into the dark. Them and the hobgoblins all head down into the dark below.
