Exogenesis

Session 1: Freedom Bound

In Session 1 you were summoned from jail by the royal family of the Elysian Empire. The king seemed confused by the summons, but soon pieced together that it was his sister, Charlie, who had summoned you. Charlie requested that you interrogate the tiefling that murdered her parents, and upon doing so you learned that the tiefling wasn’t from Ilvaluna but rather from the Everheir Empire far to the north trying to start conflict between the two kingdoms. You all dispatched the owlin assassins, even after the one warped into a grotesque beast, and managed to avoid death from the bomb planted to cover their tracks.

One of the owlins had a special weapon being powered by a strange black pearl that sparks with magic. Charlie is now requiring your further assistance to help her learn what the pearl is and how it ties to Everheir. So you have boarded her airship and are currently en route to the capital city of the nearby elven kingdom, Raesha Vicai to meet with a grandmaster mage and learn the pearl’s origin.

As the ship has been furnished, you’ve all been able to enjoy your freedom for the first time in some years. Over the past couple of days, Charlie has been spending quite a bit of time with The Accountant, asking him seemingly infinite questions as she meticulously writes down every detail. Both of them seem unconcerned with how much time they’ve spent on this. Meanwhile, Dreamer has heard a few faint warnings from his god to be prepared for danger; something that is quite unusual from A’Lux. Additionally, Tungsten has been being watched very carefully by the ship’s mechanic– a thri-kreen named Krik’rik, and Xaveria’s presence has clearly put Captain Ren on edge.
